Parade route begins at Mel Hancock Way and follows South Kanawha St. to McCreary St.
Join us in cheering on the Golden Bears and experiencing this spirited homecoming tradition. The homecoming parade is open to the public.

Carter Hall Lawn
The picnic is open to students, employees, alumni and their families. Individuals with a meal plan can use their meal plan for the cookout. Any students, employees and community members without a meal plan will need to pay $10. Payment at this event will be CASH ONLY. This event is provided at no additional charge to families who have registered for the family package.

Departs from YMCA Soccer Complex
Join us on one of two hikes in gorgeous southern West Virginia.
Piney Point Hike is a short (1.3 mile each way) rolling hill hike from the corner of the YMCA soccer complex. We will hike through the forest over to an astounding view of the Piney Creek Gorge far above the creek you get 180 degree views. We will hang out and enjoy the view and then head back. Should only take about 90 minutes to two hours.
Grandview Hike is a short easy hike to an amazing overlook. We will meet at the soccer complex to load the van. This hike is limited to only 9. We will hike through rock formations on rolling terrain for about one mile to the overlook for the New River Gorge from about '1000 above the river and take in the amazing view.

WVU Tech Alumni and Student Life Tailgate
Join the Office of Alumni Relations and Division of Student Life for a soccer tailgate. We'll cheering on the Golden Bears and have some fun with games, a photobooth and more! The first 200 guests will receive a free pepperoni roll and other treats!
